The Steelers were tebowed from the playoffs. One and done with a loss to possibly the worst team to ever qualify for the postseason. Ben Roethlisberger was outplayed by Tim Tebow. Now that the steelers are off to the sun to play golf it looks like this will be an interesting offseason. At least 6 or 7 players that have been key contributers in the past few years are gone. While some young WR's have played well the defense replacements have been average at best. Hines Ward is nothing more than a cheerleader at this point. It looks like rebuilding time. Can the steelers hover around .500 for a few years as they try to rebuild? it's possible. But it looks like the end is near for the steelers having a chance to make a run at the superbowl. Ben Roethlisberger is nearing the end too. It's not the years hes played but the number of hits hes taken. He seems to have a new injury every week. Who knows how many of these are real and how many he makes up because we all know hes a drama queen. But lets say he has 2-3 more seasons before he becomes a total liability. Can they turn things arounf that quickly? Its doubtful. So Ben's run is over. Polomalu is a shadow of his former self. Harrison is a suspension machine past his prime. the team has no running game. What will the steelers record be in 2012. My prediction is 8-8

The Steelers are dumb enough to give "The Oaf" a big contract. Isn't that about the same as one of us paying 60 grand for a beat up old Ford Pinto?

A bit optomistic considering they are going to give Ben a new huge contract which will leave them with not enough money left over to sign Faneca or any other good lineman. So the Steelers will have Ben with no line once again. But what does Ben care he will get his money.

Now that Alan Faneca is gone, Ben Roethlisberger will be sacked more than any QB in history.
